Donuts-
Recipe for Outdoor Lab Breakfast Doughnuts
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- Enough oil for deep frying
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Heat up the frying oil in a pan to a temperature of approx. 350 degrees. While the oil is heating up, prepare your other ingredients. Put the powdered sugar in a container big enough to fit the sugar and a doughnut that has a tight-fitting lid. Mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon and also put it in a container large enough to fit the sugar and a doughnut.
Open the can of biscuit dough and remove the biscuits. Using your fingers, poke a hole in the center of each biscuit and stretch out the dough until it resembles the shape of a doughnut. Carefully place the biscuit into the oil and fry for about 3 minutes on each side. This time should be adjusted to your situation. When the dough is fried to a golden brown, remove and drain on some paper towels for a few minutes. Put the hot doughnut in either the powdered sugar or the cinnamon sugar and close the lid tightly. Shake the doughnut until it’s completely covered in sugar. Enjoy while warm!
