Neil Heinekamp
Director- Outdoor Lab
Neil joined the Outdoor Lab staff in 1996 and soon became it’s director. Neil retired in 2018.
Neil started two of the Outdoor Lab’s long-term nature studies of yellow spotted salamanders and woodland box turtles.
Neil still lives in Arlington and logs many hours exploring nature. He also volunteers at the Outdoor Lab.
